I have mixed feelings about the whole "chick lit" genre. On one hand I like it a bit, bot one the other hand I find it too superficial for my taste. Maybe it is just me but I don’t sit around talking about attempting to "get" a man or anything else that the chick-lit genre typically covers.
So what possed me to read Little Earthquakes? I have read some of her earlier works and I like how she includes heavier women and how she portrays them in her novels. I feel I can relate to at least one character in her books and that goes a long way in getting me interested enough to read.
"Little Earthquakes" has multiple stories wrapped up in one novel. The women in the novel have all given birth and through different events become friends and then a "Little Earthquake" happens to each. The way she portrays the aftermath of each earthquake is believable.

200 books in a year is crazy, but I wish you the best of luck and have fun trying it! Nice blog, I’ll check back to see how you’re doing…

Hi, found you via Librarything. Your blog looks great so far
I’ve never read anything by this author, although I heard that “Good In Bed” and “In Her Shoes” were both very good. I may need to pick this one up!

Hi – I also found your blog at LT and wanted to say hi. I’m new to the blog thing also, but have to say that yours looks great. My goal for the year is always 100 books, but now I feel like I’m underachieving. =)
